How can I backup iPhone Contacts on PC? ?
Hi, The Address book of my iPhone is getting bigger and there are the details of very important people for me. I want to backup the iPhone contacts so that it will be saved from any mishaps and will be available anytime I need. Can anyone give me the details on how to backup iPhone contacts?

Yes there are different methods to take the backup of iPhone contacts. One earlier step to taken is the iTunes Auto Sync. In this if you have manually set your iTunes to sync contacts then every time you connect your iPhone to PC, iTunes will take the backup and make your contacts up to date.
The iTunes support syncing with following applications on your computer:
- On Mac – Mac OSX Address Book, Microsoft Entourage and Yahoo Address Book
- On PC – Windows Address Book, Yahoo Address Book, Micros ft Outlook and Outlook Express
Since you are using the PC, you can use the windows Address Book to take the backup of your address book. The Steps include:
- Connect iPhone to windows PC and open iTunes. Click on the iPhone devices
- Click on the info tab and look for the iPhone contacts sections
- Check the box of “Sync contacts” and choose the Windows Address Book from list
- Click on Apply as you are doing it first time you will sync iPhone contacts with iTunes, otherwise the sync at bottom right of the page will be available for the next time
- click on Sync to see the progress on the top of iTunes
- After this process, you can now check your iPhone contacts from the windows address book. Now you can go to start > programs > Accessories > Address Book and there you can see the iPhone contacts. From there you can export them in a file and save it safely.
